Your privacy.
How we collect, use, store and protect your personal information - and the choices you have.
01 What we do with your information
When you buy from us, as part of the buying and selling process we collect the personal information you give us, such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our website, we may automatically receive your computer’s IP address to help us understand your browser and operating system so we can run the site efficiently.
02 Consent
When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your card or request information, we take it that you consent to us collecting it and using it for that specific reason.
If we ask for your information for a secondary reason such as marketing, we will either ask for your express consent or give you the chance to decline. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at info@vinadamo.com or via our contact form.
03 Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so, or if you violate our Terms of Trade.
04 Payment
If you use a direct payment gateway to complete a purchase, your card data is encrypted to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase, then deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to PCI-DSS, managed by the PCI Security Standards Council - a joint effort of brands such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover - which helps ensure the secure handling of card information.
05 Third-party services
In general, the third-party providers we use will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to perform the services they provide to us.
Certain providers, such as payment gateways, have their own privacy policies. We recommend you read them to understand how your information will be handled. Some providers may be located in a different jurisdiction to you or us, in which case your information may become subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. Once you leave our website or are redirected to a third-party site, you are no longer governed by this policy.
06 Security
To protect your personal information we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practice to ensure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
Card information you provide is encrypted using SSL and stored with AES-256 encryption. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we follow PCI-DSS requirements and additional generally accepted industry standards.
07 Age of consent
By using this site you confirm you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence. Fine wine is intended for those aged 21 and over.
08 Changes to this policy
We may modify this policy at any time, so please review it regularly. Changes take effect immediately on posting. If we make material changes we will note them here. If our business is acquired or merged, your information may be transferred to the new owners so we can continue to serve you.
